  If so then it covers the WRONG period and it would be interesting to see the full quote in context, ...so far can't find a readable version to find it though.

  Christopher Walker quoted appears to be an expert on ancient astronomy and is quoted in this context....

  I'm wondering why it's in the public edition instead of the private WT. Surely it's for internal consumption and information control purposes?

  Or is it because that would look TOO obvious, ..hence it goes in the public edition to sugar coat it?

  The missing kings in Ptolemys list is a red herring as they have no effect on the period between Nabopolassar and Nabonidus which is the period under discussion. Very sad.

  But most JWs will say "SEE there's MISSING KINGS!!" You just can't trust those secular historians an inch...

  Well in Wales we do things OUR way, so having a row of inverted crucifx in the car park just always seemed normal to us. If any DF dared to intrude on the prayer then they KNEW what was coming to 'em they did! Deterrence worked 90% of the time, but you'd always get one smart ass who thought we were joking or that they'd be treated differently. Well let me tell you, their being nailed on upside down soon put any such notions aside in a jiffy!

  Or try reading Studies in the Scriptures volumes maybe. I recommend volume 2, it helped convince me that though sincere C.T.Russell was totally and hopelessly WRONG about 1914.

  Nothing he said would happen by 1914 happened. He had PROOF he said and presented it fully, scriptual TRUTHS he said, he even PROVED it mathematically FFS!! But reading it with the wonderful thing called hindsight in 2008 I could SEE it was all a crock of shit.

  Old light? No, it's still the BASIS of the JW religion and it don't add up to diddly squat.
